inPlaceN

inPlaceN (for detail where N is required and is the detail 
number)

Definition

A string specifying whether a detail will be a pop-up detail or a component placed under the master component. For the detail views, the parameter name is "inPlaceN", where N is the detail number. A case-insensitive comparison to "true" of the parameter value is made. If the parameter value is true, the detail will be in-place. The default if the parameter is not set, is that the detail is a pop-up.

You should also set the "maxDetailHeight" parameter if any detail will be in place.

An in-place detail view class must be derived from Sa.SaRowSetComp.
A pop-up detail must be derived from Sa.SaPopComp or a least implement Sa.SaIPop.

Notes

At the time of this writing, in-place details will not display correctly in Netscape 3.0. They work fine in Internet Explorer, the JDK appletviewer, and in the stand-alone framework.
This parameter is not used in the Data Control or the master view of the Framework.
